How hard is it to replace my eBoost 2 with the eBoost 3?
As easy as it gets, the eBoost 3 has been designed to be a plug and play replacement for the eBoost 2. It's dimensionally similar and the wiring connections are all in the same location. Just unplug your eBoost 2 and plug in the eBoost 3 and you are ready to start turning up the boost in a whole new way!
What’s the first rule of boost control?
Ensure you have an over-boost cut-out. This safety feature is built into all factory, aftermarket & programmable ECUs. The eBoost Range has an Over-Boost Shutdown feature built in as well – You can never be too careful. Make sure it is set at a sensible & reasonable limit. Increasing the Boost will put more load on your engine, and there are other tune-related factors you must always consider. If in any doubt, speak with a professional tuner/calibrator.
Can I use this on any turbocharged engine?
If your engine is turbocharged and uses a boost-based actuator for control, then yes. This Boost Controller will work on boost-based internal wastegate actuators and external wastegates.
How much Boost can I add?
This will come down to the rest of your setup & tune. If in any doubt, we recommend you contact a professional tuner or workshop for advice here.
What is Gate Feature?
Gate Feature is a unique Turbosmart feature that ensures our boost controllers can give you the best possible response. Turbosmart’s Boost Controllers can provide the most aggressive boost curve by manipulating the pressure signal into your actuator.
How Many Boost Levels Can I have?
The Turbosmart eBoost Street has 2 levels & the Eboost2 has 6. You can trigger these in several ways, including Boost by gear.

Returns may be accepted within 14 days of purchase pending Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). No returns or cancellations on special order items. All returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Item must be able to be resold as new.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Hazardous materials, fluids, greases, chemicals, and clothing are not able to return.
Free shipping is available within the lower 48 states for most orders totaling $199 or more. A free shipping option will be available during checkout. This offer is for delivery address in the continental United States and excludes shipments going to Alaska, Hawaii, Military Boxes, and items that require freight shipping.
