The MMX Performance F-Series MINI Centre Underbody Chassis Brace replaces the heavy, aesthetically dated steel OE centre brace with a precision-machined billet aluminum upgrade. Engineered to deliver added chassis stiffness, improved dynamic performance, and the vital exhaust clearance many tuned MINIs need (without compromising ride quality or introducing any NVH into the cabin) the centre brace is often the most critical of the three to upgrade for any owner running an aftermarket exhaust system.
The F-Series MINI uses three underbody braces to tie the chassis together: a front, a centre, and a rear. The centre brace runs directly under the exhaust tunnel, and on any MINI fitted with a larger-diameter aftermarket exhaust system, the OE centre brace gives insufficient clearance, pushing many owners to simply remove it altogether and sacrifice chassis stiffness in the process. The MMX centre brace solves the problem cleanly: vital exhaust clearance and full chassis rigidity, in a single bolt-on upgrade.
The brace is machined from billet T-6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, then carefully profiled to remove a considerable amount of unnecessary material while preserving rigidity and ultimate strength. The result is a brace that's significantly lighter than the steel OE unit while matching or exceeding its torsional contribution to the chassis. The improvement in dynamic performance comes without any sacrifice in ride quality, and without introducing any additional noise, vibration, or harshness into the cabin.
Finished in a deep gloss black anodized coating, the brace adds a finished, performance-grade appearance to the MINI's underside. Each brace is supplied complete with new installation hardware, uses existing body mounting points (no drilling or trim removal required), and is fully reversible. Available individually or as a complete three-piece set with the matching front and rear braces.

Returns may be accepted within 14 days of purchase pending Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). No returns or cancellations on special order items. All returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Item must be able to be resold as new.

Free shipping is available within the lower 48 states for most orders totaling $199 or more. A free shipping option will be available during checkout.
