The MMX Performance F-Series MINI Silicone Intake Hose is a precision-engineered replacement for the restrictive OE plastic "bellows" pipe between the airbox and the intake backpipe on B48-powered F-Series MINIs. Built from high-quality reinforced silicone with a smooth, large-diameter bore, the hose smooths airflow into the turbo, enhances induction noise, and finishes the engine bay with a clean, OEM+ aesthetic.
The OE plastic bellows pipe is one of the most restrictive points in the entire B48 induction tract. Its corrugated, ribbed internal geometry creates turbulence and limits airflow into the turbo, a meaningful constraint that's amplified the moment any other induction upgrade is introduced. By replacing it with the MMX smooth-bore silicone hose, the OE turbulence is removed and a worthwhile increase in airflow into the turbo is unlocked.
Construction is high-quality silicone with reinforced silicone elements embedded in critical areas. The reinforcement gives the hose enough rigidity to resist deformation under boost pressure or engine bay heat, while still allowing the small amount of compliance needed to absorb engine rock under load, a critical detail that protects both the intake and the backpipe from stress damage. The stepped inlet and outlet maintain a constant bore with smooth transitions, ensuring the hose actually flows the air the rest of the system can deliver.
Supplied in a deep gloss black finish, the hose installs in around 10 minutes with hand tools using factory mounting points. It's fully compatible with the standard airbox and elbow as a standalone upgrade, but it really earns its place when paired with an aftermarket high-flow intake, without this hose, much of the gain from any upstream intake upgrade is bottlenecked by the OE bellows.

Free shipping is available within the lower 48 states for most orders totaling $199 or more. A free shipping option will be available during checkout.
