The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for the US-spec VW Golf MK8 GTI is a complete redesign of the factory intake, engineered to increase airflow efficiency while maintaining consistently low intake air temperatures. By fully utilizing the available engine bay space, the system provides a smooth and direct path to the turbocharger and is capable of supporting performance levels from stock through hybrid and full-frame turbo setups.
The restrictive OEM inlet is replaced with a significantly larger 94mm internal diameter intake tube, allowing the turbo to operate with reduced drag and improved response. Airflow is further optimized through Eventuri’s patented carbon fiber Venturi housing, which maximizes internal volume and promotes laminar flow as air transitions from the filter into the intake tract.
A bespoke high-flow dry filter with a 192mm outer diameter and over 110,000mm² of filtration surface area ensures the system can meet the airflow demands of higher output applications without compromising filtration performance. The full-width sealed carbon inlet duct draws ambient air from the front slam panel while also introducing an additional high-pressure feed from behind the hood, equivalent to an extra 7-inch diameter air entry.
Thermal efficiency is maintained through the fully sealed design, minimizing heat soak and preserving air density during repeated pulls and spirited driving. This US-spec version includes a secondary breather filter and dedicated mounting bracket engineered specifically for the North American crankcase ventilation configuration.
Constructed entirely from prepreg carbon fiber and supported by laser-cut stainless steel mounting brackets, the system delivers OEM-level fitment along with a substantial visual and performance upgrade.

Free shipping is available within the lower 48 states for most orders totaling $199 or more. A free shipping option will be available during checkout.
