There are two options. Both kits require a Laptop and a wired connection from there to the OBD II port. The ProECU USB kit, pictured above right, has the interface included in the cable and the ECU Connect + Dongle kit, pictured above left, has a separate cable included to connect the laptop with the ECU Connect Interface.
At its simplest, the programming kit can be used for diagnostics and data logging. However, its most impressive feature is to allow EcuTek Master Tuners to tune customer vehicles remotely. The Master Tuner supplies suitable ROM files to the vehicle owner, who can use it to program these ROM files into their own car. If any fine-tuning is required, the customer can data-log the car and send the logs to the Master Tuner for their scrutiny and advice. The kit will program and log all EcuTek Supported vehicles.
ECU Connect + Dongle Extra Features
Our free ECU Connect App can be used to create dashboards, read and clear DTCs and control some of our custom RaceROM features in conjunction with our ECU Connect Interface.
Flashing your car with your Phone
The ProECU programming kit is available in both USB and ECU Connect wired versions. If you want to program your car from your phone over Bluetooth with no wires and no Laptop, you need PhoneFlash.
** You do not need a license if your car has an existing ecutek tune installed** License is needed in order to load an ecutek tune onto your car, if the car has not had one prior. It is a one time license and the ecu will be unlocked for any and all future tunes you may need.
*It is the customer / tuners responsibility to correctly install a tune. Lost flash points or any technical issues due to incorrect installation will not be refunded (Dead battery / disconnecting OBDII during tuning process)*
Returns may be accepted within 14 days of purchase pending Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). No returns or cancellations on special order items. All returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Item must be able to be resold as new.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Hazardous materials, fluids, greases, chemicals, and clothing are not able to return.
Free shipping is available within the lower 48 states for most orders totaling $199 or more. A free shipping option will be available during checkout. This offer is for delivery address in the continental United States and excludes shipments going to Alaska, Hawaii, Military Boxes, and items that require freight shipping.
Processing Time
