Overview

While the 2024 Ford Mustang doesn’t come with a factory fog light option, there is still a need for light directly in front of the vehicle to increase visibility in foggy, dusty, snowy, or rainy conditions. Headlights simply weren’t designed to provide this kind of visibility, so that’s where we come in. Introducing our new add-on Stage Series Fog Lamp Kit for the 2024+ Ford Mustang! This kit allows you to mount two SAE-compliant fog pods in the factory bumper while maintaining an OEM appearance thanks to the custom-designed, vehicle-specific bezels.

Aggressive Appearance Our team of in-house engineers have designed two unique bezels to fit perfectly into the factory bumper of the GT and EcoBoost trim levels without any cutting or modification to the factory bumper. These bezels retain the unique styling of the OEM grilles, while the included SS3 LED pods provide a more aggressive appearance. For GT owners, we've kept performance in mind, ensuring the bezel allows for adequate airflow to the cooling system. With a truly unique design, this add-on fog light kit is sure to make your S650 Mustang stand out on the road.

Factory-like Operation. Unlike other basic harnesses on the market, the Add-On Fog Harness included in this kit allows the fog lights to operate automatically, just like you'd expect from the factory. By using our vehicle-specific harness, the backlight will come on with the parking lights, and the main beam will operate just as a factory fog light, turning on with the low beams and turning off with the high beams. This is much more convenient than manually flipping a switch on every time you want to use them!

Focused. Traditional optics like reflectors or simple lenses lose light internally and to glare, so not all of the light shines on target. Instead, the custom-engineered TIR optic in the SS3 collects all of the light from the LED, and directs it only where you need it, drastically reducing glare and improving total efficiency.

From there, while other options on the market lose as much as 10% of the light output shining through an outer lens, the custom-molded TIR optic in the SS3 serves as both the optic and main lens for greater efficiency and light output (patent pending). Thanks to this innovative feature, when coupled with high-intensity LED chips, the total intensity of the SS3 is much greater than other LED pods using basic optics or reflectors with a standard outer lens.

SAE Compliant. All Stage Series beam pattern options were designed with optical simulation modeling, to shape the output in a highly-functional beam pattern.

SAE Fog uses our distinctive FineLine optic design, and provides an extremely wide field of view, with high-intensity output over an entire 80-degree spread. It serves as a great upgrade for any factory foglamp, and will fully illuminate the area in front of your vehicle. Choose cool white, selective yellow, or Dual-Color output to match your needs and the conditions.

When installed as a pair and aimed in accordance with your state's regulations, the Fog pattern meets SAE J583 standard as a Foglamp, for legal on-road use. Please check your local laws and regulations for aiming, installation, and applicability.

Backlight Functionality. The Stage Series 3" LED Pod features a distinctive backlight, in a brilliant amber color. This integrated backlight gives you an additional accent light, along with the main beam. The SS3's backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing a more unique and modern look than the small indicator LEDs found in other products.

White, Yellow, or Dual-Color. Choose 6000K cool white, 3000K selective yellow, or the Dual-Color option. White provides a crisp, modern appearance, while selective yellow improves contrast in rain, snow, fog, and dust. The Dual-Color option combines both colors in one lamp and lets you select the output that best fits the conditions.

SmartSelect Dual-Color Control. The Dual-Color option lets you switch the main beam between 6000K cool white and 3000K selective yellow using the factory fog light switch, with no extra switch required. To enter programming mode, cycle the fog lights On and Off three times, leaving each state active for at least half a second and no more than five seconds. The lamps will cycle through the available colors twice. Leave the lamps on for at least five seconds when your preferred color is displayed to save it. If no selection is made after two full cycles, the lamps return to white as the factory setting.

Consistent Fog Pattern. On the Dual-Color option, both white and yellow use the same focused SAE fog pattern, so changing color does not change the beam shape or aiming.

Multiple Power Levels. Stage Series LED pods are available in several power levels to suit your needs. Sport provides dependable performance and is a great entry-level upgrade. Dual-Color delivers output between Sport and Pro, with selectable white and yellow SAE fog output in a single lamp. Pro steps up the intensity for greater visibility, while Max delivers the highest output available for those seeking maximum performance.

Proven Reliability. Stage Series LED lighting has been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40 to 185 degrees F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing. All of these tests are completed to SAE standards, just like factory components. They've also been put to the test on-road by racers and enthusiasts alike.
