Overview

Looking to give the rear bumper on your Subaru Crosstrek a JDM appearance without sacrificing performance or quality? Look no further. Introducing our Stage Series C2R 4th Brake Light Kit! This kit replaces the blank trim piece found on many USDM Subaru rear bumpers with our high-performance C2R LED Pod, housed in a custom-molded bracket for a clean, OEM fit and finish. The C2R functions as a rear fog light, adding a 4th brake light with an optional F1-style flash pattern, a powerful reverse light, and an additional red running light.

F1-Style 4th Brake Light. The C2R features a high-power red function to serve as a powerful 4th brake light, along with the low-power running light. The high-power red functionality activates anytime you apply your brakes, adding a 4th brake light to your Crosstrek.

The C2R also features optional F1-style SafetyStrobe brake light, which can be activated in 15-second intervals. By default, the C2R will flash three times when the brake lights are initially applied, giving you a unique look on the road. The F1-style SafetyStrobe feature can be easily disabled if desired.

Brighter Backup. Factory reverse lights often fall short when it comes to usable output. Powered by automotive-grade, high-intensity LEDs and our custom-engineered TIR optics, the C2R delivers a dramatic increase in brightness, providing significantly more light when backing up at night.

Additional Running Light. The C2R LED Pod features a distinctive red backlight that functions as an additional running light. Unlike small indicator LEDs found in other products, the backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic for a unique, modern appearance on the road.

OEM Fit and Finish. Each kit includes a custom-molded bracket designed specifically for the Crosstrek, allowing the C2R to mount flush in the rear bumper in the same location as JDM-model rear fog lights. The bracket itself features a grained texture that matches the surrounding trim pieces for a clean, OEM-style appearance.

Focused. Traditional optics like reflectors or simple lenses lose light internally and to glare, so not all of the light shines on target. Our patented TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optic in the C2R collects all of the light from the LED, and directs it only where you need it, drastically reducing glare and improving total efficiency.

From there, while other options on the market lose as much as 10% of the light output shining through an outer lens, the custom-molded TIR optic in the C2R serves as both the optic and main lens for greater efficiency and light output (patent pending). Thanks to this innovative feature, when coupled with high-intensity LED chips, the total intensity of the C2R is much greater than other LED pods using basic optics or reflectors with a standard outer lens.

Functional Output. All Stage Series beam pattern options were designed with optical simulation modeling, to shape the output in a highly-functional beam pattern. No matter what your auxiliary lighting needs are, there is a Stage Series optic for you!

Flood pattern provides a uniform, even illumination with a broad 70x45 degree spread of light. Unlike generic "flood" lights that are simply a heavily diffused spotlight, our flood pattern uses advanced pillow optics on the outer lens surface, to provide a true optically designed spread, for even illumination throughout, making it perfect for use as a backup light.

Plug-and-Play. This kit is designed for simple, plug-and-play installation on your Crosstrek. The included wiring harness connects directly in-line with your tail light wiring with no splicing or modification needed. From there, simply route the wiring to the bumper and use the custom-molded bracket to mount the C2R securely in place with the included hardware.

Proven Reliability. Stage Series LED lighting has been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40 to 185 degrees F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing. All of these tests are completed to SAE standards, just like factory components. They've also been put to the test on-road by racers and enthusiasts alike.
