Factory CAN Bus Integration

With the AMS Universal Flex Fuel CAN Bus Box, our engineers have developed a solution that integrates directly with your vehicle’s factory CAN bus protocol. Unlike hijacking a signal from an existing system, this design enables seamless OEM-level communication with the ECU. The CAN Bus Box also provides up to three additional 0–5v analog inputs, giving your tuner the ability to monitor critical parameters such as coolant pressure, fuel pressure, exhaust backpressure, crankcase pressure, or various other aftermarket 0-5v analog sensor inputs if they so choose. With support across many ECU calibration platforms, these inputs can be tied to custom failsafes that automatically trigger if a sensor reading falls outside the safe range. By allowing conditions such as over-pressure or under-pressure to activate protective measures, the system delivers an added layer of engine protection and peace of mind. These safety enhancements give you the confidence to push your build while enjoying the convenience and flexibility of the AMS Performance Universal Flex Fuel CAN Bus Box.

• ECU calibration software must have configurable CAN datastreams. Some software is locked down and will not allow for manipulation of CAN protocol (i.e. Cobb Accessport). Check with your calibration software manufacturer to confirm CAN datastream configurability before purchase.
• This is not a complete Flex Fuel kit. Fuel lines, fuel fittings, brackets, mounting hardware, ethanol content sensor, and ECU calibration software & hardware are not included.
• 65″ power wire, 48″ twisted CANBUS wiring from module to unterminated ends, 48″ from CANBUS module to Flex Fuel Sensor connector.
