Improve Air Flow To The Turbos:
These turbo inlet pipes are the perfect complement to an aFe POWER air intake system. Designed to replace the restrictive factory turbo inlets, they provide a smoother, less restrictive airflow path from the intake system to the turbochargers. The optimized transitions help reduce airflow restriction and deliver increased airflow to the turbos for maximum performance.
CAD-Designed Inlet Tubes:
Each turbo inlet pipe was precisely developed using CAD to provide proper fitment while optimizing the airflow path to the turbochargers. The pipes are constructed from high-quality cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), providing excellent resistance to heat and impact while maintaining a durable, lightweight design.
Silicone Couplings:
Premium compression-molded silicone couplings feature integrated external ribs that help maintain their shape under vacuum. Smooth internal surfaces promote airflow and help minimize turbulence through the transition to the turbochargers. The high-quality silicone construction provides excellent heat resistance and durability against wear and deterioration. Stainless steel SmartSeal clamps are included to provide secure, leak-resistant connections.
Extensive testing:
aFe POWER engineers developed and evaluated multiple 3D-printed prototypes throughout the design process to optimize fitment, routing, and airflow. The final design was vehicle-tested under a variety of real-world driving conditions to verify proper fitment, component clearance, and reliable operation.
Hassle-Free Installation:
This kit includes all necessary hardware, with required fittings pre-installed on the turbo inlet pipes to simplify installation. Factory connections are retained to maintain proper vehicle operation. Due to the location of the factory turbochargers, installation is estimated to take approximately two hours for an experienced technician. No permanent vehicle modifications are required.
