The ARM B9 Midpipes utilize an industry-leading 3" design throughout 93% of the midpipe section, compared to the standard 2.3" (60mm) size used by most other aftermarket options.  The ARM B9 3.0T 3" Midpipes will unlock a more exciting and aggressive exhaust note on your 3.0T powered B9, with a fully reversible bolt-on solution, no cutting or modification required! 

By removing the OEM front resonators which mute your Audi's 3.0T engine, the ARM B9 3.0T Midpipes utilize 3" piping to turn up the volume and give you a deeper, richer exhaust note. When paired with the ARM B9 3.0T Catted Downpipe it truly transforms the sound of your 3.0T powered B9. The ARM B9 3.0T Midpipes retain the use of the OEM exhaust valves, so you can be incognito in comfort mode, or roar in dynamic!


The OEM Front Midpipes have a resonator on each midpipe that mutes the otherwise crisp exhaust note of the EA839 engine found in the B9 S4/S5.  The ARM B9 3.0T Midpipes not only remove this OEM resonator, but also expand the piping from the OEM size of 2.3" up to a 30% larger 3" design, improving the exhaust harmonics for a deeper and more aggressive tone.

Unlock the full potential of your 3.0T setup by pairing the ARM B9 Catted Downpipe with the ARM B9 3" Midpipes. On their own, each gives you a boost in power and sound, but if you're looking to get the most out of your B9 setup, pairing them together will perform and sound incredible. These two parts replace the biggest restrictions in the stock B9 exhaust setup, helping your turbo spool faster, your exhaust flow more freely, and your car sound much more aggressive—all while retaining your factory exhaust valves. Built to fit perfectly and work in sync, the ARM B9 Catted Downpipe and Midpipes combination delivers the ideal setup for your EA839.

CONSTRUCTION

 The ARM B9 S4/S5 Midpipes start at the downpipe connections with a CNC machined 3-bolt downpipe flange on each side. These flanges have the most hard to reach bolt pre-fixed into position, as it can be very difficult to get this bolt and nut threaded due to it's location in the engine bay.  We made it easy for you by securing it to the flange so you only have to install the nut.  The ARM B9 3.0T Midpipes will fit either the OEM downpipe or the ARM B9 S4/S5 Catted Downpipe. 



The ARM B9 3.0T Midpipes immediately expand to a 3" piping size allowing for more airflow and an improved exhaust note compared to the standard OEM midpipe size of 2.3" (60mm). The precision mandrel bends of the ARM B9 3.0T Midpipes will fit flawlessly with the stock system.  The ARM B9 3.0T Midpipes utilize an OEM-quality flex section to allow for flexibility and durability. These flex sections relieve stress from the downpipe during aggressive driving.



In addition to the flex sections, the ARM B9 3.0T Midpipes are designed with OEM-location exhaust hangers which secure the ARM B9 Midpipes even further.

Finally the ARM B9 3.0T Midpipes end with included reducers to connect to the OEM exhaust size of 2.3" (60mm), allowing you to reconnect the ARM B9 Midpipes to your OEM exhaust system without the need to permanently cut or modify the stock components.  Leave off the reducers and the ARM B9 3.0T Midpipes also give you the option to connect to an upgraded exhaust which uses 3" piping.  No cutting or welding is required to install the ARM B9 S4/S5 Midpipes!
