Overview
Instant Brake. The factory incandescent 3rd brake light bulb on the Fiat 500 lights up in a glow, which takes a moment to turn on. A modern LED upgrade provides instant response, which can alert other drivers on the road earlier, while also providing a modern LED appearance. This third brake light LED is a great upgrade in both style and function.
Select your Quantity. As different trim levels often come equipped with different third brake lights, we have listed bulbs individually here. Please double-check on your 500, and select the quantity needed to replace all of your bulbs.
Correct Color. You'll see that we only offer a red color option, which is correct to SAE/DOT "red" requirements. This provides the most output through the red lens of the 3rd brake light, as the red lens acts as a filter, only allowing red light through.
Brightness. At 4 lumens, the HP5 is a cosmetic upgrade only and will not provide an increase in light output compared to your factory bulb. All Diode Dynamics LED lighting is rated with accurate, measured lumen figures, not calculations or guesses. We test the true output in-house, and provide you the real numbers to compare.
Reliability. Diode Dynamics LEDs are built with constant-current inductive circuitry, along with transient suppression. They are tested by our engineering team with a device that replicates years of voltage spikes, like the ones generated each time the alternator starts and stops on your 500. This is what kills most LED bulbs over time, but just like factory components, Diode Dynamics LEDs are designed with built-in circuit protection. While more expensive than simple bulbs, this allows Diode Dynamics LEDs to last for years, with no flickering or failure.

Fitment
NOTE: Please check factory bulb size as some models may use a different size bulb. These bulbs are also compatible with the Abarth model.
Returns may be accepted within 14 days of purchase pending Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). No returns or cancellations on special order items. All returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Item must be able to be resold as new.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Hazardous materials, fluids, greases, chemicals, and clothing are not able to return.
Free shipping is available within the lower 48 states for most orders totaling $199 or more. A free shipping option will be available during checkout. This offer is for delivery address in the continental United States and excludes shipments going to Alaska, Hawaii, Military Boxes, and items that require freight shipping.
