Our Carbon Synchro Set offers smoother shifting and improved reliability, it is a vital enhancement for your Subaru’s transmission.
DESIGNED FOR DURABILITY
IAG’s STI 6 Speed Synchro Gear Set features dual carbon friction surfaces. This not only extends the life of the synchro sleeve and gear teeth but also allows for faster and more precise shifting. The IAG Synchros are made from Japanese brass, which is known for durability and its ability to be intricately machined. Our Carbon Faced Brass Synchro Set is precision machined, providing an enhanced shift feel and less wear between moving parts.
INCREASED SURFACE CONTACT
Each IAG Synchro Set was designed to maximize surface contact between the gears and synchros. This decreases gear shift times in your Subaru STI 6 speed transmission by increasing the grip for quicker engagement. Increased surface contact also enhances the driving experience by demanding less effort to engage the gear.
ALL SYNCHROS INCLUDED IN SET
Unlike the available OEM Synchros, this Synchro Set includes the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth gear carbon synchros. There’s no need to search for missing synchros or hunt down rare OEM parts. Everything you need comes in the IAG Six Speed Carbon Synchro Set.

Install Instructions:
Professional installation is recommended. Refer to the factory service manual.
After Installation:
- (Street Car) First fluid change required after 500 miles of street driving.
- (Drag/Road Race Car) - First fluid change required after the first event.
Returns may be accepted within 14 days of purchase pending Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). No returns or cancellations on special order items. All returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Item must be able to be resold as new.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Hazardous materials, fluids, greases, chemicals, and clothing are not able to return.
Free shipping is available within the lower 48 states for most orders totaling $199 or more. A free shipping option will be available during checkout. This offer is for delivery address in the continental United States and excludes shipments going to Alaska, Hawaii, Military Boxes, and items that require freight shipping.
