The air brake on the McLaren MP4-12C is an experience like no other during braking conditions. Looking in your rear view mirror at the wing straight up and down slowing your vehicle is awe inspiring. However the standard painted center wing piece is boring for such a high performance vehicle. VR Aero by Vivid Racing has a OEM replacement air brake wing in full carbon fiber. The high quality carbon fiber weave wing blade fits just like your factory one does. The wing has a beautiful, high gloss clear coat finish. Designed to work with the factory rear brake light mounted in the wing.
The installation is quite easy as the factory wing when in the sport position can be manually pulled up to reach the hardware to remove it. The carbon fiber is a perfect match for the OEM carbon fiber or other VR Aero McLaren accessories.

Returns may be accepted within 14 days of purchase pending Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). No returns or cancellations on special order items. All returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Item must be able to be resold as new.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Hazardous materials, fluids, greases, chemicals, and clothing are not able to return.
Free shipping is available within the lower 48 states for most orders totaling $199 or more. A free shipping option will be available during checkout. This offer is for delivery address in the continental United States and excludes shipments going to Alaska, Hawaii, Military Boxes, and items that require freight shipping.
Processing Time
Patterson Performance stocks a large quantity of items at any given time. Some items may require drop shipping from one of our various distributors. In stock items will ship within 1-2 business days. If you're needing your product quickly, please contact us to verify product availability before placing your order. Orders requiring additional verification (security concerns, incorrect information, etc.) may need additional processing time. Estimated shipping dates are not guaranteed and are subject to change based on inventory levels and manufacturer lead times. Backordered items are shipped immediately once available.

Vivid Racing Guarantees the fitment and quality of all products offered by VR Aero if used for the intended purpose and application. Issues found that are not directly caused by a manufacturing defect are not covered under any warranty offered by Vivid Racing. To qualify for warranty coverage all items must be inspected prior to accepting delivery. Any damage found during delivery inspection must be reported to the carrier before accepting delivery. If damages are reported after delivery no warranty or coverage will be offered.
Exclusions from the Guarantee:
- Acts of Nature
- Neglect
- Misuse
- Use of Gas hood/trunk lifts
- Use of OEM hood latches
- 3 Clear coat blemishes less than 9mm in size
- Imperfect weave
Vivid Racing offers a limited 6 month warranty on clear coat that covers against significant color change. Like Automotive paints and clear coat, slight fading and discoloration is natural, this warranty covers only extreme cases and is at the discretion of Vivid Racing. Vivid Racing reserves the right to refuse clear coat warranty caused by Neglect or Acts of Nature.
Please note: In order for any claim to be submitted, proof of professional installation or its attempt must be provided. All Warranty claims must be submitted for review. If approved, an RMA number will be provided which MUST be included in the packaging. If not included your returned product will be refused. All return shipping costs to and from Vivid Racing are the responsibility of the customer or distributor initiating the warranty claim. If the product is determined to be covered under warranty Vivid Racing will repair the product within original spec, offer a replacement, or refund if needed to the original purchaser. Our warranty does not cover any labor, services, or related products to our product.
