The 570S is recognized by many as the daily commuter McLaren with the price tag starting at just under $200,000 brand new. While the base model is the cheapest McLaren you can purchase, they are far from the base model compared to your standard passenger car. McLaren incorporated many jaw-dropping characteristics while keeping the 570S an exciting daily driver.
Vivid Racing set out to enhance these incredible features with the VR Aero carbon fiber P1 style hood. The gorgeous 2x2 (3K Twill Weave) not only captures the attention of on-lookers but adds to the performance aesthetic of the 570S. By matching the same manufacturing and weave methods as McLaren, each piece is pre-preg dry carbon fiber for ultimate durability and precision fitment. The dry carbon fiber also weighs next to nothing for those that are die-hard about weight savings.
Maintaining the 570S aerodynamics are a key feature of the carbon fiber P1 hood. The curves of the hood help eliminate low-pressure zones across the front of the vehicle and prevent any front lift, which could result in a lessened steering feel. While McLaren engineers carefully designed the 570S for optimal aero, the VR Aero P1 hood will only exaggerate these features alongside making it look menacing and stylish.

Returns may be accepted within 14 days of purchase pending Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). No returns or cancellations on special order items. All returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee, no exceptions.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Item must be able to be resold as new.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Hazardous materials, fluids, greases, chemicals, and clothing are not able to return.
Free shipping is available within the lower 48 states for most orders totaling $199 or more. A free shipping option will be available during checkout. This offer is for delivery address in the continental United States and excludes shipments going to Alaska, Hawaii, Military Boxes, and items that require freight shipping.

Patterson Performance stocks a large quantity of items at any given time. Some items may require drop shipping from one of our various distributors. In stock items will ship within 1-2 business days. Vivid Racing Guarantees the fitment and quality of all products offered by VR Aero if used for the intended purpose and application. Issues found that are not directly caused by a manufacturing defect are not covered under any warranty offered by Vivid Racing. To qualify for warranty coverage all items must be inspected prior to accepting delivery. Any damage found during delivery inspection must be reported to the carrier before accepting delivery. If damages are reported after delivery no warranty or coverage will be offered.
Exclusions from the Guarantee:
- Acts of Nature
- Neglect
- Misuse
- Use of Gas hood/trunk lifts
- Use of OEM hood latches
- 3 Clear coat blemishes less than 9mm in size
- Imperfect weave
Vivid Racing offers a limited 6 month warranty on clear coat that covers against significant color change. Like Automotive paints and clear coat, slight fading and discoloration is natural, this warranty covers only extreme cases and is at the discretion of Vivid Racing. Vivid Racing reserves the right to refuse clear coat warranty caused by Neglect or Acts of Nature.
Please note: In order for any claim to be submitted, proof of professional installation or its attempt must be provided. All Warranty claims must be submitted for review. If approved, an RMA number will be provided which MUST be included in the packaging. If not included your returned product will be refused. All return shipping costs to and from Vivid Racing are the responsibility of the customer or distributor initiating the warranty claim. If the product is determined to be covered under warranty Vivid Racing will repair the product within original spec, offer a replacement, or refund if needed to the original purchaser. Our warranty does not cover any labor, services, or related products to our product.
